Helping businesses get the funding they need
LendingCrowd is based in Edinburgh, and provides business loans to small and medium sized businesses across the UK to help them get the funding they need to grow.
Since 2014 they’ve offered straightforward business loans, quick credit decisions and a genuinely personal service, giving established businesses a real alternative to the high street banks.
Why they came to us
LendingCrowd had evolved significantly since their previous website was built, transitioning to a differnet funding model.
Their old WordPress site was also reaching end of life and no longer reflected the services they offered or the direction of the business.
They wanted a new website that explained their loans clearly, spoke directly to the industries they work with, and gave business owners the confidence to apply.
Just as importantly, they wanted their own team to be able to keep the site up to date without relying on a developer for every change.
What we did
We designed and built a brand new website in Webflow, shaped around the questions business owners actually ask before taking out a loan.
- A 27 page site with clear product pages and a simple “How it works” journey
- Dedicated pages for 14 industries and 7 use cases, all managed in the Webflow CMS so the team can add more themselves
- Cookie consent set up with CookieYes and Google Tag Manager, working smoothly across both the website and the LendingCrowd app
- Tracking that follows where each new customer came from, whether that’s an ad, a search or a referral, right through to sign up
- Structured data across every page, helping search engines and AI tools understand who LendingCrowd are and what they offer
- Hands on Webflow training and written guides so the team feel confident managing the site day to day

The result?
LendingCrowd now has a fast, modern website that makes business finance feel simple to explore. Their team can update content, add new industry pages and publish news without any developer support, and they can now see which campaigns are bringing new customers through to sign up.
